Cookie policy

The short version: this site does not track you. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party scripts at all. Last updated October 2026.

Why there is no cookie banner

Because there is nothing to consent to. This site loads no third-party scripts whatsoever — no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no ad network, no heatmap tool, not even fonts pulled from someone else’s server. Everything the page needs is served from this domain. If you check the network tab yourself, you will find nothing phoning home.

What actually gets set

  • In normal browsing, nothing. A visitor reading these pages is not given a cookie.
  • If you submit the contact form, a short-lived cookie may be set to stop the same message being sent twice. It is functional, not tracking, and it goes away on its own.
  • The caching software that makes pages load quickly may set a cookie to serve you the right version of a page.
  • WordPress sets login and preference cookies — but only for someone signing in to the admin area, which means me.

What is never set

No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. No profile of you is built, sold, or shared, because none is collected in the first place.

Controlling cookies anyway

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings, usually under Privacy. Blocking them will not break anything on this site. If you want to clear what is already there, that is in the same place.

Sites I build for clients

Client sites are a separate matter. Some ask for analytics, a booking system, or a chat widget, and those tools set their own cookies. When a client site uses anything like that, it gets its own cookie policy saying so. This page covers keckwebdesigns.com only.
