Services

What I actually do.

Four things. That is the whole list, and I would rather do four things properly than claim twelve.

01 — Build

Build the site

Three to eight pages depending on your package, laid out around what your customers are actually trying to find. Home, services, about, contact, plus whatever yours needs — a menu, hours and rates, a gallery, directions. I write the first draft of the words too. You edit them, because you know your business better than I do.

Checked on a real phone

Not just shrunk down in a browser window. An actual phone, on an actual connection.

A contact form that works

Pointed at an inbox you actually read, and tested end to end before launch. Most broken small-business sites fail right here.

Map, directions and hours

Embedded properly, not a screenshot of a map, so people can tap it and drive to you.

The padlock, set up to renew itself

Security certificate installed and automatic. Browsers warn people away from sites without one.

Written for search, not left blank

Page titles, descriptions, and your business details formatted so Google can read them.

The small stuff nobody does

Favicon, a 404 page that helps, and a privacy policy that is actually about your site.

02 — Host

Host it

Your site lives on business-grade hosting that I pay for and manage. You do not buy hosting, you do not get a second bill, and you never get a renewal email you have to decode. It is in the monthly fee. Backups run daily, so if something breaks there is a version from yesterday.

03 — Maintain

Maintain it

WordPress, the theme and the plugins all get updates. Unapplied updates are the single most common way a small-business site gets hacked. I apply them, then check the site still looks right afterwards — which is the step most maintenance plans skip. Uptime monitoring runs in the background, so I find out the site is down before you do.

04 — Change

Change it whenever you need to

This is the part most people do not get from a web designer, and then regret.

You email or text me. “New hours for the holiday.” “Raise the gel price to $55.” “Take the third photo down.” “Add the new guy to the team page.” I do it, usually the same day, Monday through Friday. No ticket system, no hourly bill, no minimum charge.

Straight about the limit: each package includes a set amount of edit time every month — 30 minutes on Starter, an hour on Growth, two hours on Pro. In practice most months do not come close. If a request is bigger than that, or it is a whole new page or a redesign, I quote it first and tell you the number before I start anything.

What I do not do

An honest list is more useful than a long one.

Logos and brand design

Not my craft. I will happily recommend someone who does it well.

Running your social media

That is a daily job and it should belong to someone who is in your business every day.

Paid ads management

Different skill, different budget conversation, and easy to waste your money on.

SEO contracts with vague promises

I build the site so search engines can read it and set up your Google Business Profile. Anyone guaranteeing you rank one is guessing.
